Shark Steam Mop Won't Refund Fraudulant Product

I'm very dissatified with this product. I received it before Christmas and didn't began using the product until mid-Feb. I called customer service on 3/29/08 and talked with cust serv reps in S.E. Asia. They told me that I'm unable to return the unit because it's passed the 60 day return period. This was very upsetting especially since I didn't even pull the unit out of the box until last month.

I am very dissatisfied customer. I believe this company is misrepresenting their product on TV. It is not a quality steam mop. It DOES NOT work even remotely to what they claim on TV. I can't believe that I fell for this scam.

I will be contacting the Better Business to complain. We have invested $80 for a fraudalent product. We want a full refund and the company is refusing. We will never purchase ANYTHING made by this company. As a consumer, you'd be better off going to a local store such as Walmart, Target, or Kmart and purchasing a stem mop where as if you have problems, you can return it for a full refund and talk to someone that speaks English that can truly understand your concerns. Just simply frustrating!!!

I have to agree about this Shark Steam Mop. I actually purchased mine at Target. I have used it for about 2 months and it broke where the handle meets the base. I just purchased more pads and the carpet glider last week and only used it once before it broke. Now I am left with do I get a new one, or get a different steam mop. I have spent well over $150 on this mop and all the stuff to go with it. It is difficult to push (more than likely how it broke) I do like that you can wash the pads and it did work well on my laminate flooring. It was the first thing that I used that did not streak, but is it worth the money???

I totaly agree with you. I signed up for the $19.99 payments and they charged my card 52.30. When I called to ask about it, they could not find my order in the system! How do you charge someones credit card if you have no information on file for them? So I called back the next day because I did find the steam mop cheaper else where, I wanted to cancel my order and recieve a refund, but that was not happening. They havent even shipped out my order and they refuse to give me my money back!!! So now I have to refuse the package (which i most likley wont be home to sign or refuse) wait for them to recieve it back and then I will receive a refund, but did I mention my order had not been processed or shipped but my credit card was charged!!! Customer Service was not helpfull and rude, I could barely understand them due to all the backround noise and heavy accents.
